"SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY"

Recently, there was a major debate amongst the Orthodox Rabbis regarding fish containing worms, particularly the anisakis worm. The majority of American Rabbis including the OU permitted the fish for consumption as cited by Shulchan Oruch. Gershon Bess was not happy about this, so he proceeded to obtain a letter signed by Rav Elyashiv prohibiting consumption of fish that are infested with that worm.

It seems that sometimes when Bess goes fishing, he has a practice of "catch and release", as evidenced by his complete ignoring of Rav Elyashiv's halachic rulings in the matter of Gittin. As Gershon Bess and the RCC have a habit of coercing men against Halocho in the giving of a GET. Why does Gershon Bess not follow the dictates of Rav Elyashiv in matters of Divorce? One is not allowed to apply coercion in most cases in regards to the issuance of a GET, as it will render the Get invalid. In fact a Get that is invalid can create a prohibition of Kores by the Torah vs. eating a worm is just Malkos which is less stringent. Why is Gershon Bess lenient on a Kores matter and stricter on a malkos matter?

Therefore he requests to be a worm so that none of his enemies will devour him.
Why then is Gershon Bess so careful about the issur of eating worms but not about humiliating people in public? Why is Gershon Bess so careful about what enters his mouth but couldnt care less what exits his mouth, namely Loshon Hora and Motzi Shem Ra.
Is Gershon Bess on a fishing expedition?
